about

The second EP from Philadelphia's screamcloud finds the band polishing and honing their sound, creating a poignant, energetic follow up to their debut release, 'Artificial Flavors'. 'The Slums Of Your Mind' opens with the sludgy, ominous "In Your Eyes," and gets its title from the second track, "275," a surf-y homage to the struggles of the band's early days living in New York City. The EP closes with "Let It In," a riff-driven personification of social anxiety. The cover art is a series of photos taken by frontperson Emily Daly, whose last home before moving to Philadelphia overlooked an alley filled with stray cats.

about

screamcloud Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

screamcloud is a band that loves all things heavy: baritone guitars, noisy riffs, and songs that explore the existential dread that comes with modern life.
